Coil is arcing between the 2 plugs

My car just started idling real ruff and lost a little power. You can hear and see the coil arcing between the pugs (coil wire and wiring harness plug). What would cause this and could it cause damage if I drive it home? The wire to the opti looks to be in good cond..

Make sure the area is clean. You could also put some dielectric grease on the inside of the coil wire boot to see if that helps any. Could also be that your coil wire is just leaking spark and may need to be replaced.

Today I put a new coil wire on and it still had a little arc, but then it started arcing somewhere on the passenger side. Do I need new plug wires also or ?
