I threw an SES intermittantly 2 times over the last 3 days. The first time it went off after I restarted & the second time it stayed on for about 10 minutes. After that restart I checked the engine compartment & noticed that my tranny dipstick was popped out about 3 inches. Would that cause a vac leak condition? I havn't had the problem for a few days now & the dipstick is in place. I did the free tranny mod last year & wonder if the >line pressure had anything to do with the dipstick. I had been playing with that feature before it happened. Oh< it also stumbled at idle & reved up to about 1000 rpm,s a few minutes before the code light came on. It runs great now???

 

The dipstick surely wont set off any codes they're known to pop out on our cars.

 

did it do it at idle.....could be ur IAC (idle air control) my cars been acting up but its fine now....could b ur problem im gonna change mine sometime

 

Just get it scanned, and know for sure why the light came on. Better than guessing.
