I scanned my car today with Auotxray and got Code 82-QDM or shift A solenoid fault ... can anyone tell me what solenoids i need to replace what is QDM? The car was rebuilt just the clutches so i know there fine ... I need to find out what all the problems are that are associated with this code. Thanks

 

I looked up code 82 on shoebox's website it said 1st second shift solenoids faulty, does anyone know QDM is? its a Obd1 tranny code. Thanks

 

You are using a generic code list if you saw "QDM".... that would be the "Quad Driver Module" used on the earlier ECM's.... not applicable to a 94. Use Rob's list.

 

Thats what Autoxray gave me for the code description when I scanned the car ... So Just stick with shoebox's Obd1 codes?

It always puzzles me when you take time to give people the answer and they don't want to believe it.....
