Code 52

I'm getting a code 52, engine oil temp sensor low, on my Auto Xray that will not clear. I didn't think the LT1 had an oil temp sensor and I can't find any thing in the Haynes manual about it. What gives?

Are you using the correct setup on the scanner for your car or just a generic OBD-I setup? It should not be telling you anthing about an oil temp sensor problem, because the F-body does not have it.

It doesn't let me pick F-Body if that's what you mean. Just the engine code and year. The PCM has been re-flashed with a PCMforless program as well. I guess I have nothing to worry about right??
