Datamaster shows code 34 - the map sensor is flat lined at 10.6 kpa (I mean no change at all under any throttle or load condition)

So I replaced the pigtail and am reasonably confident that I crimped it in correctly, but still no change, sensor remains at 10.6

I to get about 4.8 volts at the unplugged pigtail when jumping green and black, key on engine off.

Map is clear of oil, orange seal seems fine

Question:
How do I check voltage with my multimeter while the pigtail is plugged into the sensor?
What else should I check before buying a new map?
