Question Code 33 need help.

I am getting my car dyno tuned on saturday and I have a code that keeps popping up the code is 33 on a 1993 Z28. The code is map sensor voltage high vacuum low. I have a CC306 cam and Lloyd Elliot heads on the car. Is there any reason that this code is setting. I am thinking it becuase of the low vacuum created by the cam. The map sensor is operating normally and was replaced. Anyone have this problem? Thanks.

Are you sure it is 24? That's not a MAP code.

Re: Code 33 need help.

If the rpms and vacuum get too low, the computer won't like the MAP reading. It is expecting to see readings in a certain range based on rpm and such. If the MAP gets too low, it will throw the code.
