Clutches: Are they either put in right or wrong?

Ok, I am about to have my clutch done because I don't want to take the time to do it myself.

So if a clutch is done right, will it pretty much stay right...meaning 100 mi later generally things don't start happening because it was not installed correctly?

well, sort of, but if it done right the first time, AND broken in correctly you will be ok.

but if they forget to resurface flywheel, change out throwout bearing/pilot bushing or whatever, then you may have problems on down the road

And so how do you break it in correctly?

Also this is all new clutch parts with bearing, pp, etc.

i broke mine in by just driving normally, varied driving stop and start easy for 1500 miles, ie no 6k dumps or anything. is holdin up pretty good 30k miles later... so i suppose thats how you do it
