checked my fuel pressure, ?

i checked my fuel pressure during a couple of WOT blast in 2nd gear, with the vacuum line disconnected it held steady at 58psi (thats where i have it set for the stock injectors, and programmed the constant at 30lbs) until 5000rpm then it starts to drop off to around 45psi at 6500rpms......that correlates with my air fuel going lean around 5k.....so my fuel pump cant keep up right? i just ordered the cool kit from www.racetronix.com for $150
i also plan to get a set of SVO 30# and turn my psi back to 43.5...

Yes, it sounds like your fuel pump isn't up to the job.

Just to clarify the test procedure... you don't have to disconnect the vacuum line to test at WOT. There isn't any appreciable vacuum in the intake at WOT. You can leave the line connected.
