Check Valve screws into MAC Header, but loose ?

I did my headers a few months ago where the check valve goes on top of the header, the piping is loose- gases escaping. Its loose inside right where the pipe attaches to the screw area.

The one in the left top photo shoes it best, where black plastic piece is near the bottom of the pic.

Is this piece broken ?

LOL...You did the same thing I did! MAC supplies "adapters" for the AIR tubes. They are simply bushings that are beveled on one end. They drop into the AIR pipe with the beveled side up.
The reason they leak (and move up and down) is because the AIR tubes are a flair fitting...The headers have a pipe fitting. The bushings give the AIR tube something to tighten down to.

I hope you didn't think the same thing I did "What are these spacers for?"

BTW, you didn't "miss anything"...MAC doesn't explain any of this in the instructions.
