im looking for one sub, 12" that will hit tight and clean. i was thinking JLw3 or 6 .
i had some rockford hx2 but they didnt sound as clean as what im looking for.

I imagine you want to stick close to the W3 or W6 price range. IMO the Adire Shiva and IDQ are both excellent sounding subs. Easily on par (or IMO a little better) than either the w3 or w6, while both of them are a cheaper. Any of the 4 subs mentioned will work great tho.

wow i cant believe i havent heard of most of these brand name subs. where online can i take a look at them? i havent seen them in local car audio stores.

if $250 is not out of your price range the Stereo Integrity Magnum D2 is on sale. I have had the privelage of having the prototype in my car for a good long listening session. The sound quality was nearly on par with my Brahma 12, and at $120 less (if you buy on the preorder) it is a great deal.
