Check out these LT1 Timing Sets
Summit has these Cloyes chains for the LT1. There are three, but what's up with the different pitch sizes? Do any of these work with the stock waterpump?
CLO-9-3150 Original True timing set,Chevy 8mm pitch LT1,LT4,L99 1995-up $343.39
CLO-9-3151 Original True timing set,Chevy 1/2in pitch LT1,LT4,L99 1995-up $343.39
CLO-9-9100 Timing Set ``Heavy Duty`` SB Chevy ``LT-1`` $343.39

I would guess that they do, since they say LT1/4. They are awfully expensive, though. I put a regular small block (non-LT1) timing chain on mine with an electric water pump. The chain cost me $70, and the pump was $135. So, it gives me a few hp for less money. I can't see doing it any other way.
People talk about how the electric WP isn't as durable. That may be. It's kind of like the days of belt-driven pumps. If you lose the belt, you are stuck just the same. I have a green light to show that the pump is working, and a red light that comes on if anything goes wrong, such as a blown fuse.

I've never seen those before but for $350 I would hope they work with the stock wp. I don't know why someone would buy one of those though when the LT4 ED is around $200. Anyway, I went with the $80 Cloyes double roller and a CSI pump, all together about $215.
Also, what's an "L99?" , I guess that was supposed to read L98.

Nonetheless, the loose belt/ mech waterpump failure vs electric waterpump failure dont really apply. Well concidering our water pumps are driven off the timing chain, i'm not particularly worrie about overheading if my chain slips off.
All i am saying is that the reasoning you provided for the reliablity of the electric vs mechanical belt driven dont apply to us.
I prefer gatorade to powerade

I had someone send me some pics of the CLO-9-3151. It's a true roller and will work with stock pump. It comes with a third, smaller tooth gear about the same diameter as the crank gear though. Any idea what that is for?? I am thinking crank sensor or something sense I have a 94 and am not familiar with 96-97 cars.
Still can't figure out what gear the pitch is referring too though.
