Yeah right...those Dr. Gas x pipes are $195 w/o shipping. I am hoping to save up the money to get one eventually.

Mine was $104, it doesnt have the extensions on it, it's just the x-pipe junction.

I have flopro "twister" mufflers on my true dual set up and it sounds pretty good IMO.

I run 3" duals with no mufflers that turn out and down behind the rear seat buckets. It's fine at idle, can be loud at crusing but not bad (no headaches) and when you stop on it, wow that's loud... sometimes I roll down the windows just to listent to it. I take this car on 4 hr interstate drives regularly too, it's really not bad. I don't see what the fuss is about. Fab it up muffler free and if it's too loud go back and stick a couple bullets on it. I think your best bet to keep interior noise down is not mufflers but to get the pipes out the back. You could get a 3 inch on the pass side through the stock location I think and a 2.5 through the drivers side I bet.. someone should try this.

Anyways, good luck with it.. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the sound

For real? Did you just get the exhaust shop to weld on pipe to it and that was it? I'll probably just do that then cause 100 bucks is a pretty big difference.
