Changing To True Duals....What's Best/LOUDEST Mufflers To Go With?

Just like it says guys. I'm changing over to true duals with dual cut-outs. But when the cut-outs are closed and the exhaust is running through the mufflers I want it to be as loud as possible. So which ones do everyone suggest? Thanks.

And they're "retarded loud." Thats why my true dual system is my summer exhaust while my stock style 3" Flowmaster w/ cats is my winter exhaust so I don't rattle my brains out.

With my true duals, I have to wear ear plugs to not get a headache, and the reverb can be pretty nasty under 1800.

I seriously sugguest you look into some real mufflers, like Corsas or Spintechs.

Bullets are the most popular since they are cheap $35 and are loud. I would like to hear a set of hooker or boral mufflers on true duals but i guess clearance would be an issue

I would like to get a couple of the Borla XR-1 mufflers. But there is NO WAY I'm paying over $200 for a muffler!!!!

They're basically the same thing as Dynomax Bullets too, except they're stainless steel, and you pay $150 more for the name.

Don't mean to chim in on someone elses thread. But I have a similar question. Right now I have the complete stock exhaust with the exception of a cutout. The sound is nice and deep and that's the way I like it. I'm looking for more deep throat than loud rasp. Plus I don't wanna get nailed everytime I drive around because my car is louder than a top fueler. What's a good exhaust combo if I'm running Jet Hot LT's(which aren't installed yet) and an off road Y-pipe? I thought about true duals but I don't want to be much louder than my current setup. I've already been told an aftermarket off road pipe won't fit my stock exhaust so I'll probably dump that. Are there any mufflers out there for true duals that are "quiet" for a lack of better words. The reason I say quiet is because LT's and an off road combo is gonna be pretty dang loud and I need something to tame it just a bit, not much, but just a bit. Sorry so long

I'd have to agree on the Dynomax Bullets. Their cheap and seriously loud.

I'm going Bullets. I want LOUD. I don't care about it being loud every day. I want it that way. I live in South Carolina, so we're all rednecks around here anyways.

You got any more clips from outside the car?

Ken, you don't know how many times I've listened to that clip. lol. And for everyone else saying that loud gets old, yada, yada, yada. Loud is what I want. My Dad and I have raced for 22 years. So loud doesn't affect me.

Axe,
If I remember correctly, Kmook doesn't even have that car anymore and he never got the chance to get an outside clip of the car.
