changing spark plugs........

The third spark plug on the driver's side is completely under my edelbrock headers and i can not get to it with a socket b/c it is too long and the wrench won't bite, it simply strips. Soooo is there any hidden secret to getting it off or do I have to take the headers off? THanks, Jason

You could also take a plug socket and cut about an inch off it, should allow you to slip it over the plug and use a 3/4 inch wrench to loosen it.

take it to a bench grider and knock off like a half inch or more off the socket and then a box end!
