Changing plugs on LT1
I changed my plugs and OVC wires this weekend. #5 and #6 were the hardest by far(my first time doing it). Like others have said, it depends if you on what manifolds/headers you have. #'s 1, 3 ,2 and 4 i got from the top and #'s 5, 7, 6 and 8 were from the bottom.
i changed to some nitrous plugs a few months ago, i did them at my school instead of home because the school had a nice lift. it took me 3 hours to do because i wasnt really used to the shop and all the tools they had. by far the hardest for me with my hooker LT's was 6 and 8. had to get them from underneath and 6 took some work up top too. a few different shaped/lengthed sockets will help and i recall a ratcheting combination wrench worked well in some areas to crank on the socket in certain tight areas.
