Changing Fuel Filter.......

Is it neccesary to get rid of the preasure on the fuel lines before I crack the can open for the fuel filter?
Is it ok to smoke while I change the filter?
What can I do about pesky relatives?
Who killed JFK?
Why am I asking these questions?

1. Also relieve pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel rail. Removing the gas cap relieves tank pressure, but not line pressure. If it has been sitting overnight, there won't be a lot of residual pressure.
