anyone know how to do this.. i got the tb gasket i need.. n i got tb cleaner... is the tb coolant by pass worth doing... i am goign to be there.. anyone ever doen this stuff before n has step by step on how to do these... beginer here lol

 

Clean up the IAC, but don't push or pull on the pintle. Clean the passages in the TB, too. No special trick, just do what you can.

The bypass will keep your TB cooler and may net a small hp gain. It also makes the TB easier to work on in the future (less stuff attached).
The method differs for 1993-94 and 1995-97. If pre 95, you need a 3/8 hose barb and clamps to connect together the two hoses you remove from the TB. If 95-up, merely connect the hose like this .
