Changing cams cc503

Hey guys, I have the hot cam kit in my 97 Z28. Im thinking about going with the cc503 cam. My question, will everything that came with the hotcam kit be able to support the cc503? I was hoping to be able to just swap cams since I already had upgraded springs and 1.6 rockers. THanks for your input.

Re: Changing cams cc503

The rockers should handle it but the springs in the HOT kit are marginal for the HOT cam absolutely not up to the task of a more aggressive lobe on an aftermarket cam.

I have seen conflicting reports of how much lift the "LT4" kit rockers can handle .550-.575 you will be looking at .544 with that cam and the 1.6s so you would just do well to check rocker slot to stud/polylock clearance. Should be fine but should be checked.

Definately. Lloyd Elliot sells a set of springs for $130 shipped that I used, heard good things from others about them too.
