hey i'm new to this forum. my question is this: i have a cc503 cam and before i install it, what spring would be a good but cheap alternative to the stock lt1 valve springs. i am going to stay with stock 1.5 rockers.

 

that is, unless the stock rockers will not work...

 

I would say you might as well upgrade to cc promagnum 1.6RR's while you rippin everything apart. Not sure if you would need new springs or not though.

 

i'm afraid i wont pass ca emissions w/1.6's either way i can add those after smog test. just not sure if the stock springs will handle the lift
