if my car ran 102 mph i would have to either 1 kill myself or 1 rip my car apart and find out where i screwed up.

if you run 102mph you will get you *** handed to you, by just about everythin on the street

With the mods he mentioned, 102-104 is about right...and you will still be able to beat more cars than you would have stock so I don't see the issue??

There is a shop there in Decatur called Billingsley Racing. I just got my stroker done by him. His name is Jay. His number is 217-519-0597. He really knows his stuff.

Your looking at paying way too much to have the cam installed. You SHOULD just do it yourself. If you have a someone to help you out just a little bit then you will be good. Specifically with the radiator. Here is a nice little page that pretty much explains everything for you. At the top of the page it has a nice little explaination about camshaft...i.e., what the numbers mean and stuff like that. At the bottom, the instructions are pretty straight forward.

I think that you should be able to do it yourself if you have enough time and patience for it. And, I'm sure if you get stuck somewhere that they guys on this page would be willing to help you out. Just ask a lot of questions and make sure that everyting is clear before you do it.

Good luck,
Jason

You can go buy a tq wrench for the fraction of the cost of having someone install this. When I did my cam swap I had no knowledge/experience of working with engine internals. And quite frankly it was very straight forward. I just used a couple guides from on here and came inside and asked questions any time I got stuck. Theres plenty of people here to help. The cam swap to me was probably easier than the headers labor wise, but it was more time consuming because there was a bit more to remove and re-install.
