The FP is fine when I shut it off. It stays steady around 39-38. I let it set there for a minute this time and it backfires every few seconds. So from the Block Learns and backfiring, I'm led to believe that it's getting to much fuel. Also when I shut it off I noticed, that it sounded like something from the enging bay was winding down and it wasn't my CAI. I'm totally freaking clueless. I wish I had a digital cam.

If you are still throwing a code, it is probably the fan winding down because it will come on with the SES.

No it's not the fans, I'm not getting an SES light either. I'm not sure if the PCM has cleared the code yet and that's why I'm still getting the code. If it were the fans I know exactly what they sound like.......since I had to hear them all winter.

If it were my opti or something that is spark related, wouldn't it be throwing a code?

I just finished pulling the drivers side plugs. They look fine. Took the MAF sensor out and it too looked fine. So I decided to start it up, it lit right away like it's supposed to. Idled for about 30 sec. and let out a pop. Idled for about another 30 sec. and let out another pop. After the last pop, I let it set there and warm up to operating temp. and took it down the road. I was getting no knock and about 5 deg. at WOT. But I figure that I"m getting the knock when it shifts? Anyway, let me know your thoughts. I'm kinda thinking I may have gotten a bad tank of gas? No wonder why they were the cheapest priced place!
