Does it idle at 2,000 RPM or did you have your foot on the throttle?

Was the e-brake on in those photos? If not, the "BRAKE" light is indicating you have an unacceptable pressure difference between the front and rear braking systems. That in turn would turn on the "ABS INOP" light. Or there might be a whole 'nother set of problems turning on the "ABS INOP" light. Only way to tell is to have the EBCM scaned for codes, which requires a high-end scanner like the Tech-1 or Tech-2 that the dealer mechanics use.

To turn off the low coolant light, assuming the leaking radiator isn't really low, unplug the sensor. If its on because of the leaking radiator.... well.....

yes its always pegged over to above 80. it didnt do that before the harness swap...

and yes the ebrake was on when it was taken,

as for the idle yes it was on its own i DID NOT have my foot on the throttle at all... not normal im gussing by your questioning it?

and the brakes im redoing them along with lines as soon as this overheating problem stops.... ive already got grey leather 30th anniversary seats on the way...

so as soon as i get this little problem fixed i should be good to go......

but i got a new radiator cap and i havent ran it yet with the new cap, but my old caps i had on the inside one was rusty so they said it wasnt sealing right... and they other the seal was broken so they said that was no good...

could a radiator ap really be the cause of all this? if so im going to have to rethink my whole learning about these cars,..... cause ive been thinking clogged heater core or maybe bad water pump, or stripped water pump gear sleeve.... youknow the thing that connects the water pump gear to the cam gear? or maybe a bad water pump bearing...

cause i do hear a grinding noise rom under the hood and it sounds like its the alt or water pump...

never moved over this spot... hopefully its fixed. but does anyone know a normall warm up time for our cars? like how long it takes? and i checked all hoses and they were hot the radiator was cool almost warm so thats a good sign,

so my next questions are,

whats the normal amount of time it takes for your car to warm upto normal operation temp?

and what is the normal operation temp? if you can include as much info as possible that would be great,

also im not running a thermo... so keep that in mid for my warm up time

If your car actually died from OVERHEATING. Your engine would be gone.

Run it till the fans come on. Then check the actual temp when they do. That will tell you volumes.

thing is my fans didnt come on when it last overheated,
so that leads me to believe that either the relay is bad...(not a problem i have 12 more from my old harness)

or the PCM isnt getting the correct temp reading from the sensor on the water pump, i might need to clean it...

also i checked my fluid levels this moring and they were right under the radiator cap... its never done that before ( good sign im guessing)

also im going to be posting another thread here so look for that,
