Thanks for the drive today Eric. It was a bit of a work getting it home. the RPM's were jumping around quite a bit and if i put my foot into it, the engine revved up but the car didnt really go anywhere. (guessing it had no air flow.)

So my dad told me to take it to this one shop. I had forgot all about them but they were family friends and have done all the previous work on the car. They're taking a look at it tomorrow and will let me know what they find.

And thanks to Eric, i found out my car has 3.23's instead of 2.73's. Good thing i didnt go out and buy a new set of 3.42's or 3.73's like i was planning.

So it got worse you think? I suppose if the cat is clogged it could get worse (contaminants catching on already clogged parts)

Good luck getting it fixed, I think it's your cat.

A lack of fuel pressure would cause a power loss. That would mean your fuel pump is failing, or your fuel filter is clogged. I don't think this is your problem, but if you put a fuel pressure gauge on your car, post up the #'s. I think you should be getting 36-40lbs/hr @ idle. 38-42/hr @ wot.

your car looks good. I'd do exhaust, wheels/tires, and/or tint as your next mods.

When my fuel pump was failing (took probably about 1.5-2yrs with performance decreasing over time) it was running fine at part throttle, but slow as hell at WOT; new fuel pump = car was fast again. The difference was amazing. If you can get (rent/loan/etc) a fuel gauge, run it out of the back of the hood and duct tape it to the wind shield. That way when you are running you can watch it. You should see I think ~40psi at WOT.

If thats good then exhaust/compression/spark check can still be done.

When my fuel pump went out it was sputtering all over the place. I had bought it when it was on it's way out. It had trouble starting and I knew it was nothing electrical / spark so I was hoping it was just the fuel filter. Oh well.

I just got a text from Matt, it was the cat.
