Car dies at idle after warmed.. DTC 42

I have had a slew of issues with my car after it sat for a year or so... Now it runs great till it gets warm than it just dies.... I had no codes... Well I had a SnapOn scanner hooked up to it and it pulled dtc 42 when it died, but the code goes away... Restarted with no codes, ran fine died after 5 min of idle and same code. Any ideas... Oh yea before it dies it tends to surge like its out of fuel... Going to ck the ICM by shoebox write up...

42 is the ignition control signal from the PCM to ICM that actually fires the ignition. It's the white wire from the 5th pin on the black connector at the PCM to the ICM.

Pull the connector off at the PCM and the ICM and measure resistance of either end to ground. Now wiggle the wire along it's entire length until the reading changes. There will be the problem.
