Car died, along with windshield wipers

Today as I was driving, my car just shut off. I am guessing it is some kind of electrical problem, since the wipers also no longer work. The car turns over, but I don't think it is getting spark. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, since I just got back from pushing it a 1/2 mile in the dark. Think this is a simple fix? Any ideas? Thanks

Check fuses first. Then look for loose or disconnected wires.

Okay, I guess I was just being stupid, becuse the wipers work now. I have done some tests too. There is no spark. Battery power is getting to the coil. The coil seems to be working because I did a few different tests from the manual on it.

I doubt it is the opti, because I should still have spark, and the car just stopped, so I think it is some electrical problem.

It does turn over, but doesn't start, obviously.

So, I put on another ICM, or whatever the thing is that connects to the coil. It was a spare, so it could be bad. Should I buy a new one and try that?

Oh yeah, all fuses are fine and no wires seem loose or broken or anything. There is no spark at the plugs or at the main wire from the coil.
