Not sure what hose you are talking about, but that is not a picture of a 94. It is a 95 or newer. On the 94, the PCV valve has a u-shaped hosed that curves right back into the intake manifold. That has nothing to do with EGR or AIR.
Most AIR connections on single cat headers are 22mm threads, and can be plugged with M22 oil drain plugs. You will also need a 5/8" vacuum cap to cover the AIR pump supply connection on your air intake system. That is it for AIR.
For EGR, you need to cap the connection on the #8 header tube, the place on the back of the intake where the corrugated tube from the #8 tube connects, and if you remove the EGR valve itself, you need a blocking plate for the resulting hole. These are not a simple matter of screwing a bolt in the hole. You need to fabricate blockoff plates, or order them from someone like SJM Manufacturing.
Then you pull the EGR vacuum hose off.... the thin hose with the elbow that heads off to the right in the picture you posted, and put a vacuum cap on the nipple on the manifold. Your connection, being a 94 will only be a single elbow at that point, not the two connections shown in the picture.

ok...ive come to the conclusion that i am never going to get those tubes screwed into the top of my MACS out...can i just pull off the hose and cap there? leaving the metal tubing to the headers in place but taking all the rest of the AIR system out...what should i use to cap there? heres a pic..the bottom 2

Go
cut the pipe right above the bolt and then use an impact wrench to get it off.
