Canfield Heads

Canfield Heads

Anyone have any experience with Canfield heads ? How much are they, would they compair with or out perform Lloyd's heads ? Thanks for the input guys!!

Canfield doesn't make LT1 heads anymore, and good luck finding a used pair since there aren't too many around. They are supposed to be very nice heads, though.

Baxter made 1,125HP and ran 9.04@155mph in his 3,900# 30th SS convertble, using a set of Canfields. They did have significant rework in them though, including relocated valves. I don't know the final flow numbers on the Canfields, but they replaced a pair of modified LPE CNC LT4's that flowed close to 300 @ 0.700".
