Can this be Soldered... (pics)

Like the title says. Just wondering if it can. I don't know much about soldering so i figured i'd ask even though i was pretty sure.

you can probably buy the whole plug from a dealer for a couple bucks, if not you can get a tool to take the pin out of the plug to re attach the wire to. or you can carefully solder it!!!

Yeah, a competent person could solder that. You want to tin the leads on both the connector and the wire...then, you should be able to get solder to flow. Be sure to use heat shrink and electrical tape around both connections.

crimping it would be easier and you would get better continuity.

You can buy pigtails from the dealership for around 15 bucks. YOu reallly ought to replace the whole thing or take it to someone who can recrimp a pin on it.

Never skimp out on wiring things.. It will save you abunch of hassle down the road.

Soldering is alwaws better than crimping hands down. He may have ment to recrimp new connector on. That would be good as factory.
