Can I use silicone on this?

Ok the bottom gasket for the throttle body crumbled to pieces and I can't drive my car until monday when GM parts store reopens to get the gasket. I have the coolant bypassed so nothing is passing through there except for the air to the IAC valve. Would it be O.K. to seal this up with some grey RTV silicone temporarily until I get the gasket? Would it hurt if I ran it for awhile like this?

You shouldn't put silicone anywhere were it could get sucked in by engine vacuum. I'd wait if it were me.

Got any gasket paper to make a gasket? When nothing else is available, the side of a cereal box will work for paper gasket material (though you probably will want to replace it later).
