Sent an email to Duragloss asking.

Does the NO. 111/113 Clear-Coat polish contain any carnauba waxes?
And what do silicone oils do? Do they harm the paint?

#111 contains no carnauba waxes. Carnauba waxes will reduce the
durabiltiy. Silicone oils are called Dimethyl silicone or Dimethyl
siloxane and the only harm they have is a slight chance if the car is
freshly painted. Silicone oils are used for gloss, rub out, and removal.
We do not us these in our polishes because they reduce durability. Our
systems are all polymeric which gives the best durability.

Silicone not bad? How can that be?

 

Silicone isn't automatically bad for the paint. It's bad if there's silicone residue remaining on the body just before a new paint job because it can prevent the paint from wetting the surface thus forming "fish eyes". I'm no expert but I've never heard of a problem applying it to an existing paint job.

As for Duragloss and carnauba wax, they are completely different things. You could put the wax on over the Duragloss if you wanted but it would be a waste of time because the polymer coating lasts longer than the wax and doesn't need it for protection. Mixing wax into the polymer mixture would interfere with the polymer's ability to form a continuous coating.
