Can the coolant hoses to the TB be deleted?

I currently have the union to the TB hoses. I'm trying to make more space in the front, can eliminate this hose by capping off the heater hose barb and replacing the "water pump to radiator hose on the driver side" with a new hose that doesn't have the y extension for the smaller hose? Just wondering if this will effect coolant flow in any way.

Thanks,
James

Yes. You will pick up 6HP. Just pull the two hoses off, and connect them together with a barbed fitting and clamps (93-94 only).

If you lived north of the Arctic Circle, you might experience problems with "throttle body icing"......

Sorry if i explained it wrong, but I'm looking to cap off the heater hose T line and replace the upper radiator hose with a single hose, rather than the single to Y output. Trying to make more room for the supercharger mounting and plumbing.

You could swap over to a '95 heater and radiator hose.

Had to go to shoebox's site to understand the differences of a '94

Just the answer I wanted. I ended up buying a cap and hose for the heater hose. I bought the upper radiator hose for a 97 Z28 and cut it to length... works great.
