Cam time soon, come on in, I need your opinion

Question for all you cam nuts out there. Within the next 2 months I plan on doing Jet hot long tube headers, 3" Y pipe, converting to dual high flow cats, Slp Loudmouth, NX Wet kit (prob 100 shot), mild/mid ported heads w/ valves, and also a cam (rockers, springs, etc..) The only item I am having a problem on is the cam. I was talking to a few people and I was telling them what I am looking for in a cam. I would like the following:

1) Street Drivability (no iratic idle, dont want to have to tip toe gas when at a light)
2) I dont wanna have CRAP low end
3) I would like it to work WELL with the n2o
4) I would like to also have VERY nice power without the n2o

I was locked on the hot cam kit for its price, and the fact that people have done pretty well with it. But it seems I wont be utilizing all of the setup i will be doing. I was thinking of a custom comp cams cam from combo motorsports with the following stats: 224/236 duration, .536"/.555" 114 lsa Will this cam give me all the stats I am looking for? From what people tell me it will, what do you all think? Post away, thanks

I would check out and call Combination motorsports www.cmotorsports.com

These guys are really awesome

tell them ur plans and goal and they can give u a good idea on what cam to go with. I personnally would go with a nitrous cam (from the combination) U can also get a great price on a kit with springs and rockers too with ur cam in a package deal.

There are so many cam posts on this board, it would seem all you have to do is read, read, read.

Thanks for the input, I read some posts but nothing this specific. Is this cam to agresive? A few people said this cam is the way to go, anyone running it? Or drove a car with one, how do you like it?
