The hot cam is a great starting cam set up...

This has always been a great starter cam.

Need these too:

Good idea to change the rest of the coolant at the time, the thermostat, hoses and belts too if you haven't already done so.

The GM hot-cam kit is a great performance option for a bolt-on engine! When I was doing bolt-ons, my car went a 12.42 with the hot cam kit, headers, stall and 3.73s.

Bigger, faster, longer, louder and few more er's I probably don't know are not the answer. Just going to the bottom of the cam page is not the answer. Everything from the heads (ports, valve sizes, quench area and chamber volumn) to cylinder volumn to intake runners, to converter stall to rear end gears all work in concert.

Not to mention road manners and the ability to idle. Much less tune. Study, study and then study some more before you start throwing money around. But if you got some to waste, send some my way.
