removing engine from bottom

removing engine from bottom

few questions

where do you guys disconnect the brake lines at?

do you remove the entire suspension or disconnect the upper ball joint and drop the shock

You disconnect two of the three brake lines at the abs control unit that are going down the left strut tower. one of the lines is larger than the other two, that one is for the rear brakes. at least thats the was it is on a 94. some newer ones might have one line per wheel. as far as the upper control arms you only need to remove the four strut tower bolts on both sides.

I remove the front brake lines at the ABS unit. It will take a little bit of fishing/tweaking to get them free as you go down.

Take the bolts out of the top of the shock tower and everything below drops out with the k-member. I left my wheels on.

where can I find a GOOD write-up for engine removal out the bottom. I'm pulling mine soon and I'd like somewhat of a detailed guide. THANKS
