Cam Questions

ok well i decided to go with the cc 503 cam....will the LT4 springs, locks ect work on this cam if i keep the stock 1.5 rockers???i think the lift on that cam is .503/.510, and the LT4 springs say there good untill .525/.525 so they should work right???

The LT4 springs are marginal at best for the HOT cam and it achieves it's .525 lift with 1.6 rockers which are easier to control than had the lift been achieved by moving the heavy roller lifter as much. The lobes of the HOT cam are pretty mild too most aftermarket cams move the lifter more aggressively.

I am going to say no they will not work. If you try them though you know ahead of time what that "high rpm miss" is, it is called valve float.

Isky has a good spring set, they will do what you want but they run $300 for just the springs

Comps will be the cheapest, check out the various supporting vendors on here, some of them have them.
