I disaggree, i think that you should get more out of the cc306; but tht doesn't really matter. Do not get LT1 edit, TunerCat or anything like that unless you are planning to spend a long while learning it. They are not exactly user friendly. I would recommend getting you car dyno-tuned. I believe that you will find the best results that way. It might be a little more pricy,(150.00 per hr) but if you are going to put this cam in ( hopefully heads too ) you should spend the extra $$ and do it right! If you don't, you won't be happy w/ the results.

Here is a pretty good website that has the cam...it is 215.00 and I am ordering the same one from there...http://www.lt1f-body.racenet.net/valvetrain.php
it is under the XE cams..i.e. extreme energy.

Okay I have one last question...I have a comp cams catalogue and it says here that there is an XE cam that has a duration of 210/220 at .050 and a lift of .500/.510 lobe is 114. How much HP and TQ is the 224/230 going to give me? How much will the 210/220 give me? I am going to get the 224/230 but I was just curious as to how much power I am going to get from one versus another. Thanks everyone for the help!

Whoa.....just ask around about Racenet's customer service. I wouldn't order Top Ramen from those guys

Yeah, funny you mention that because last night I searched on racenet and really found out a lot about them. That is really messed up...however, I am local and not far from them ~20mins, so if they don't come through then I'm right here to correct the problem effectively and efficiently.
