Callies problems??? The great american economy?

Anyone ever dealt with callies???

I had a eagle chineese crank, which btw never EVER gave me any problems...

I wanted to support the american economy and have an american crank in my american car...

All i've had are problems... i ordered a magnum plus crank and got a 2 rear peice main seal after about a months wait for it... Great!!! i send it back,.. and what happens??? almost 2 months and i haven't received my RACEMASTER crank... a LESSER CRANK!!! and what the heck?? callies wanted me to pay over $200 than the 1600 i already payed for the crank for a lesser crank to have it balanced....

This car has been nothing but problems.... I hate this proyect... its already on my nerves... i hate liars and i am beginning to hate 99% of all the sellers in this forum...

No one EVER gets things delivered, not even within a REASONABLE time frame, and i'm not saying promised time, because that NEVER HAPPENS... Everything is delayed.. everything is incorrectly dispatched...

I was quoted 7 weeks for my heads... 4 months later... boom my heads from AFR.. i was quoted 3 weeks for my torque arm buumm 3 months later....

I was quoted 2 days for my supercharger 2 weeks later my supercharger...

The only people i have been able to work with are in some instances thunderracing (although i bought my crank via thunderracing) and bmrfabrications...

Im really really mad about this.. I've spent serios cash just to have a freaking JUNK in my garage with no engine or tranny... Im begining to ponderate the idea of selling the car altogether...

I thought people wanted the american economy to flourish, well with this HORRIBLE customer service!!! why should i buy anything american??? might as well buy it chineese and its available, it will still hold and i will not have any problems...

When sent my heads and intake ot have ceramic coated.. SAME FREAKING deal... one week.. it took almost 2 months to complete...

WHAT IS GOING ON HERE???? I am wondering if this is happening to everyone or have i just have MEGA BAD LUCK?

OOOHHHH so people are racist because i live in PR and then decide to hold my stuff up???

you know UPS delivers here and as a matter of fact PR is a more important market than the east cost since all comes here 2nd day...

Besides... USPS also lives here and delivers perfectly... so its not a valid comment...

I am just tired that people are not living to the expectations nor the promises...

Ai, has always been nice and always helped me out, although they are extremely overworked, which i'm happy as work is $. Also they have always helped my site with good informative posts when people have inquired. So

But the rest.... heh... not even swain tech can deliver correctly. They did a nice work though, which was worth the wait, but still another problem there...

You know.. when stuff needs to be returned NO ONE EVER COVERS YOUR SHIPPING!

hey man, I was just throwing an Idea out there. I'm not being RACIST or accusing anyone else of it either, just saying maybe it would take longer to ship there, but you think I'm talking out of my *** so I'm out of your thread

it really doesn't take longer... anyways.. the point is... i don't think where i live has anything to do with when people get THINGS delivered.

I think you're right.

I'm doing a engine build up and it doesn't matter if it's a local supplier or a national supplier most of my parts have not been delivered on time and when something goes wrong you have to pay for it even if it's as simple as return shipping for them sending the wrong part.

You also have to do a lot of research and even then you may get told some wrong information by a good company

Good luck

Killer cool

be gentle to the tranny.. forks tend to break and such... but its a good tranny and holds gobs of power.

I have always had good service from Callies, but the spring and summer seasons are often a problem with performance stuff. The companies involved are small and don't tend to have huge stocks parts - they are often "made to order". Especially the good stuff that everyone wants - like Callies!

Actually many people do. Remember, a powerful motor is a combination of little things that add up. If you can gain a few percent with no drawbacks (besides $$$ ), then you do it.
