calculate this compression

3.875 storke
4.040 bore
0 deck height
1.050 piston top
.039 head gasket

check out this auction, they say 11.4 to 1, but I calculate 12.4 to 1

Also need head cc. I'm assuming you're talking about the felpro head gaskets. Then the gasket bore is 4.125. That's another small factor.

The pistons have a 5cc dish for valve relief.

You're looking at 13:1 with stock heads.

Unless the block has been decked or you are using an odd piston the deck will not be zero, the piston will be down in the hole.
