Angry A/C keeps quiting on me in hot weather, using HPP to restart computer??WHY??

Okay This is happening way to much..LAST 4th of July I went 3 days without A/C then found out I had to restart my computer to clear the codes..well now that the 90deg heat is back the thing did it again..never when it was cold out it always work..now that I need it it dies on me till I restart my computer using my HPP+..
anyone know why ??? any fix to it??
the HPP is just to make the computer click on again and delete the codes instead of unplugging the battery..
any suggestions would be great!

Have you checked the codes. One thing I can think of is when the refigrant level is low(low pressure) the pcm won't let the clutch on the pump engage. So maybe its low and when you clear the codes the pcm thinks the pressure is fine, atleast for a little bit.

When you restart your ac is it cold? If not your low on freeon, if you keep on doing that you will probably burn you're compressor.
