its a 94 lt1, any write ups? does it come out thru the engine bay or inside the car?

Do a search for HVAC removal. Then go to page 5. There is a guy (Trax) that has a good write-up (HVAC removal: a how to). Set aside an afternoon and a lot of patience. Especially if the motor is still in the car. The entire dash has to come out, the whole thing comes out from inside the car. Good luck and be sure you have no intentions of putting it back in, you wont want to.
