Burnt Plug Wire?

Will this cause a pop and backfire going down the road? '

What about the bad opti... I wanna say plug wire/wires It will idle but when I give It gas It struggles hard... Also Hard to start! I can get it to go to like 2-3 grand but it sounds like a semi auto 12 gauge going off..

Im seeing smoke comming from my down by my opti... It could be burnt coolant because im a ******* and forgot to close the bleeder hole

Well crossed wires would cause a backfire...did you accidently mismatch a couple wires going to the opti. By the way I like your mods..they're identicle to mine. Have you got any times with the car yet or are you still working out the bugs....me i'm still in the bug removal stage after putting in the cam. As far as the smoke goes find out where it's coming from right away and dont drive it around like that. Find the leak and fix it. Do you have access to anyone with a labtop and datamaster. Again though do all the basica checks first, plugs, wires, 02 sensors, and coil. Dont jump right at the opti right away. I went at tearing apart the opti last night and got 3/4 of the way done and realized that the power stearing pump had sawed through one of the plug wires in two spots. Didn't really think of it because the plugs, wires, and 02's were all new...but you cant always be too sure. hope that helped somewhat.

not the plug wires... Just pulled them all off.... Ill have a buddie help put them back on tonight.... and see if that does anything.

The thing is IT ran excellent. I had a guy come set the lash smoothed everything out..... I had to wait for my girlfriend to get home before I could put the valve covers back on and seal it up...

It all ran good Till I started with the radiator cap off... then it started poping and running like **** chances are the opti got wet and Ill have to yank the harmonic balance, radiator and waterpump out for the 5th time for durning this cam install...
