Burning wires on me headers...

Burning wires on me headers...

I have moroso wires on my Lt1 and ya, my macs just burnt my number 4 wire......any else get this problem with macs? would tie straps help this out in the future??

It happens,especially with headers.Look for some "fire sleeves",they install at the plug side of the wire and protect the wire from burning.

You might want to consider routing the wires over the valve covers, then at least you can actually see the wires and make sure they aren't touching the headers.

OVH cover wires would be a good idea, I hope your not using the stock wire looms. They hold the wires much too close to heat to keep them safe.

i would also agree with the over the valve covers. i switched since i burnt a wire as well, and its a lot safer and looks cooler too.
