Bump starter.......

Where do I hook up my bump starter on a lt1. I dont want to screw up and fry the PCM. Do I jump the terminals on the passenger fender?

I use the positive terminal on the fender under the red cap and I use the alternator as ground. Never had a issue doing it that way.

I'm confused...How do you bump the starter by hooking a switch from + battery voltage to ground? That's going to be one heck of a dead short.

A bump starter switch is connected where the two wires are connected to the solenoid. One is the purple wire, the other is the battery cable. You could hook to the battery or power junction up top, if you wanted.
