built forged 396 ,internal or external balanced?
im selling a motor and was asked weather it was internal or external balanced, i cant get a hold of the shop who did the work. so is there a way i an tell??

If it's external it has a bob weight on the flexplate.
LT1's are half/half the front is internal and the back it external from the factory.

well i have no flexplate,is there a way to tell how it was balanced?it is just a shortblock,no damper or flywheel of any kind.
