False Knock retard

My and my friends car both are pulling about 3-5 degrees of timing at idle or going down the road both have lt4 knock module, both cc306 RR headers and bolt ons, have tryed 110 gas, after all the test we came down to it being the knock sensor being to sensitive of valve train, Anyone else have this problem what are you doing to fix it? thanks kyle.

i had mine edited out of the pcm becuase the amount of knock it was reading was insane and the guy doing my tune said "if your knock was that bad you would hear it VERY loudly and wouldnt need a laptop to tell you you had a bad knock." This was done right after a full rebuilt with the lt4HC kit

so the tuner can make it less sensitive? I know madz28 made it for it can only pull a max of 5 degrees. but can they make it less sensitive to false knock?? my thing is im already losing timing with the 150 shot tune im using so i dont want to lose any to false knock,

Don't worry bout it get a dyno tune and let um set the RIGHT timing for the engine.

Do a search, you can put a resistor in line and ground it to satisfy the computer, unhook the wire from the sensor.
