Borla Exhaust Hanger

Well...like an idiot I backed up too far, too fast and hit a curb I didn't see. There was no visual damage to my Borla exhaust tip, but I broke the eye on the little metal piece that goes between the pipe's hanger and the hanger on the frame.

For those of you that have no idea what I am talking about, it is a little metal piece that is metal and about as big as 2 quarters place side by side with a half inch hole on either side.

I now need a new one of those pieces, or a fabribation of one. Anyone have any ideas oh how to do this faily cheaply.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt,

Mine broke, and I didn't even bump into anything. I just went to a muffler shop and had them weld it back on. $10 later, and it's all fixed!

ttt...trying to get something cleaner, but I appreciate the suggestion. I will keep it as "plan B"

Why not just hit a local hardware store (or home supply depot) and buy a 12 inch long by 1 inch wide by whatever thickness needed, metal slat -take it home, cut it to size, and drill whatever needed holes?
