Re: bolt on's
as far as power and times, itr depends on the car and motor obviously. the term "bolt ons" basically means anything you can do without lifting a valve cover or touching the internal engine. induction and exhaust are your two major components subject to bolt ons. of course pulleys and everything else has it's own little catagory
Re: bolt on's
thanks guys...i know what it means but my real wuestion is what exactly are ALL the bolt on's that you can do...im tryin to think what else to add power without getti ntooo sophisticated and replacing the whole valvetrain...or deciding if the rest of the boltons arent worth it and go ahead and start thinkin about what valvetrain i want and how much i need

headers
cat-back

cold air intake
gears(maybe)
Re: bolt on's
Technically it's anything that doesn't touch engine oil, but despite this some consider 1.6 roller rockers to be bolt on.
Examples-
intake, bigger MAF, bigger throttle body, electric waterpump, underdrive pullies, throttle body bypass, headers, catalytic converter removal, catback, aluminum driveshaft, computer tuning.
