Pistons in backwards=bad juju. You need to have a valve job done on both heads and replace some valves more than likely. That little accident just cost you at the very least a grand. The piston probably burned up and got lean because of the fuel not doing what it should have been doing. I don't think it was an injector but I could be wrong.

And the car won't run very god on a stock tune and 50 pounders.

And I'm really wondering; Valves hit the pistons, thats a huge thing, you couldn't hear any abnormal sound ???

OMG thats a long time.

Just curious, did all pistons installed backwards, or just that one? Because if 1 piston is installed backwards, how they couldn't see that!!!

Any information from your engine builder?? Is he paying for some of this mishap? Are you positive the injector stopped spraying?
