Big block in a late model camaro?

Theres a guy at my work that has a 454 low compression big block that he will sell me very cheap for my 94 camaro z28. My question is would it be hard to install a big block in a late model fbody. I have a turbocharger on my car right now - only thing holding me back is a forged shortblock to run more boost. I'm trying to go the cheapest route. Would buying everything to get this big block to fit cost more then a forged shortblock? Would it fit and bolt up to my stock t56 trans?

Its def not going to bolt right up to the T56. Gona need a new bell housing at least. You will probably get nickled and dimed to death. I say forged shortblock. In my experience I've learned to go w/ tried and true methods, dont get stuck in that guessing game where you just start pissing money away trying to fix a bug.

It will cost a lot more to go BBC. You need BMR k-member, headers, EFI carb intake with elbow and adapter for your TB unless you already have a LS1 TB. Mechanically the engine will fit fine but the computer will be your main issue unless you go carb, but unless you want to hack your cowl off stick with EFI which means aftermarket ECU. Here is my BBC car

Like said above, it can be done and will need some specialty parts....
