Which is a better camshaft Hot cam or cc306??

I just had the lt4 hot cam installed but I'm now thinking I should have gone with the cc306. Is the cc306 more noticable in power difference. Also What rpm range does the hot cam really work best to. 3 grand to about what rpm??? - Also is the cc306 allot more aggressive sounding. How much extra horse would I have got with the cc 306??

totally different animals meant for different things
306 is a topend cam
Hotcam was made for showroom stock type racing and has a decent powerband thruout

most wish that they would have gone 'bigger' after installing the Hotcam but dont be fooled it is a good lil cam that can make a fair amount of power with a good tune! speaking of, do you have a tune yet?

there is no set numbers for "this camshaft gives X amount of power more then Y camshaft" its all about the combination of parts and the tune
